Legacies of Black Magic Duet
I thought that magic wasn’t real—only science. Man, was I wrong…
I just wanted a simple life. Get my PhD in Astrophysics, work for NASA, and have a house with a white picket fence. Pretty. Simple. Neat.
Unfortunately for me, things get complicated when I witness a magical murder, nearly get killed myself, and explode into magic. And I hate complicated.
Turns out I’m a magician—even though I don’t want to be. I’m forced into The Society of the Ebony Renaissance, a group of Black magicians who supposedly help white people with their lives. Gross. And super complicated.
Just as I’m about to snap, I meet him. Emmanuel Ihejirika. Elder magician. Jaded as hell. Horrifically powerful. And he wants me.
He gives me an out, but at a price. I have to become a double agent, spying on the Ebony Renaissance and reporting back to his resistance group. Incredibly complicated.
But when magicians start dropping like flies, and I’m the next target, I’m forced to trust him. Even if it means losing my life—or my heart.
